Rose Dream

The summer is well and truly underway. Here in the UK we’re recovering from an exhausting heatwave. In good summer spirit, I thought I would share some ways that I’m taking care of one of my biggest accessories this summer; my skin.
One form of relaxing “me-time” I’ve gotten pleasantly used to recently is bath time. I’ve started taking them pretty regularly this year but in the heat when I need to freshen up or on my way out of the house in the morning I’ve been using Lush’s Ro’s Argan Gourmet Soap. I’m not really a soap person as I find it very drying on my skin which is very prone to drying out very quickly. However, this soap has yet to dry me out the way soap usually does and the smell is just divine.
Another member of the Rose fragrance family is Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner. This is used just like a hair conditioner. You massage it into your skin while  in the shower and rinse off, leaving your skin feeling luxuriously silky and smooth and smelling incredible.
I also picked up the Rose Jam Body Spray while it was in The Kitchen. This smells just like Rose Jam bubbleroon which is a bubble bar from Lush and is so strong. It is such a generous product; I’ve gone days where I only use one spray of the fragrance on myself and 8 hours later I can still smell it on myself. A little bit really does go a long way.

I love using all of these products together as The Rose Jam family has become my favourite from the Lush Fragrance families. It is sweet and uplifting and very true to the name.

Of course your sin is only as good as how much you take care of it, but it is also dependant on how you take care of yourself, not just your skin, so make sure you’re all taking care of yourselves this summer. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and use sunscreen when out in the sun.

Stay safe and take care everyone! x
